CV

Education
I attended The University of Texas at Austin on a full athletic scholarship from August 2002 until May 2006. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Advertising with a GPA of 3.5. During my uni days I achieved the following academic accomplishments:
Big 12 Commissioner’s Honor Roll, 2003-2006
Betty Alexander Endowed Scholarship Recipient, 2003 and 2005
Joe Conely Bowling Endowed Scholarship Recipient, 2004
Babe Zaharias/ Carlette Guidry/ Leigh Ann Fetter Endowed Scholarship Recipient, 2006
Academic All-American, 2004 and 2006

Towards the end of my Advertising degree a few of the classes in the program had major team assignments (worth most of our grade) that resulted in one team being declared a winner. My teams won both of these class assignments, as decided by the professor and/or client, and by no small margin:

Austin Diagnostic Clinic Marketing Communication Plan, Spring 2006
Winner: Chosen by the client as best overall campaign in Dr. Lewis’s Advertising Campaigns class. We worked as a team to create a full, 6-month integrated communication campaign for the client. I was responsible for the media plan, creative executions and deliverables, budget details, and book design.

Callahan’s General Store Media Plan, Spring 2005
Winner: Best overall media plan in Lisa Dobias’s Media Planning class.
We worked as a team to create a full, one-year media plan with a challenging budget in a new market (Callahan's hypothetical launch in a new city). We used SMRB/MRI, CMR, Scarborough, SRDS, and SQAD in creating our plan and my responsibilities included various sections of the plan such as market profile, objectives, flowchart, and formatting.
